Banned Book Club

Every other Sunday: Banned Book Club at RagTag Art Haus. Currently reading 1984. In-person & virtual. Readers and non-readers welcome. Banned Book Club meets every other Sunday to dig into books that someone, somewhere, decided you shouldn't read. 🧃 Social Hour 3pm: Show up, grab a snack, say hi, and settle in. We know everyone in LA runs a little late, so this is your buffer. Come early, come on time, or come halfway through.📖 Discussion 4pm: We dig into the book together. We're currently working through 1984 by George Orwell. No pressure if you haven't finished the pages, and no pressure to have read anything at all. This isn't just a space for people who've already read the book. Haven't had time to read? Can't read the print, or reading isn't accessible to you right now? Come anyway. We'll recap, we'll talk it through, and you'll still walk away with the conversation. Access to these stories and ideas shouldn't depend on finishing every page.
