1. who these cover

These guidelines cover what people post and do on Zeffyr: events, flyers, comments, threads, messages and profiles. Zeffyr is for people 18 and older.

The Terms of Service are the binding version. If the two ever disagree, the Terms apply.

2. treat people well

Don't harass, threaten, defame or stalk anyone, or push other people to. Don't post anything hateful, discriminatory, sexually exploitative, violent or obscene, and don't use Zeffyr to organize anything illegal.

3. interest is about the event

Tapping interested tells people you want to go to that event, and the chat that follows is for making a plan. Don't use either one to pursue someone who isn't interested.

4. hosting

Post real events, and keep the flyer, time, place and price accurate. If plans change, edit the event or post an update to your guests.

Guests share their name and contact details when they RSVP. Use them for your event and nothing else. You're responsible for your event following the law, including any permits and age limits.

5. flyers, photos and posts

Only post flyers, photos and art you have the rights to use. No spam, fake events or misleading listings, and don't pretend to be another person or organization.

6. accounts and data

Don't scrape Zeffyr, collect other people's information, or run bots on it without our permission. Don't try to get into accounts or data that aren't yours, or probe our security.

7. reporting and blocking

You can report an event, a comment or a thread from its menu, and it's hidden from you once you do.

To block someone, open their page and choose block. They won't be able to see your page or message you.

If someone is in danger, call 911 first. For copyright or trademark complaints, email hello@zeffyr.app with the details.

8. what we do

We review reports. Depending on what happened, we remove the content, warn the person, limit their features, or suspend or close their account.
