This walking tour explores the historic buildings along Ocean Boulevard that overlooked The Pike, Long Beach's world-famous amusement park. Led by knowledgeable tour guides, you will stroll along Ocean Boulevard and learn about the unique buildings that overlooked the Pike amusement park that operated at the shoreline from 1902 to 1979. Be sure to arrive on time to begin your architectural adventure. The tour will start at the Terrace Theater Plaza at the intersection of Ocean Boulevard and Long Beach Boulevard. On the 4th Saturday of each month, learn about the Long Beach Arena and its "whaling wall" mural, the newly restored Breakers, the adaptively reused Ocean Center Building, the Sovereign “own-your-own” apartment building, and more!
