Community Acupuncture – Free Clinic in Santa Ana

Free community acupuncture clinic in Santa Ana, Fri 10/23, 10am-1pm. Funded by Long Beach Gives donors. First come, first served. Urban Salt is a nonprofit community acupuncture clinic with locations in Long Beach and Santa Ana. We offer Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), including acupuncture and herbal medicine, on a sliding scale, because we believe it should be within reach for everyone. Every month, we open our doors for a free acupuncture clinic at each location. Just come in and get treated. It's sponsored by individual donations from our recent Long Beach Gives campaign. Thank you to everyone who gave. You're the reason these chairs are open. Our Santa Ana free clinic lands on the very first day of Frost's Descent, the last solar term of autumn and the bridge into winter. In Chinese medicine, this is a time to slow down, stay warm, and build your reserves before the cold season. As the old saying goes, nourishing yourself now does more good than waiting until winter. Sunny, the newest practitioner on our team, believes healing starts with listening. In her words: "Your symptoms aren't problems to silence. They're wisdom asking to be heard." Her approach is about observing the patterns behind what you're feeling and restoring balance, working with your body instead of against it. She earned her Master of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from South Baylo University, where her clinical internship focused on chronic pain, acute injuries, stress-related conditions, and musculoskeletal issues. Before acupuncture, she worked as a physical therapy aide and volunteered in pediatric, hand therapy, and therapeutic riding programs, which gives her a hands-on, rehab-minded perspective. She's also trained in kinesio taping and instrument-assisted soft tissue work, and she speaks Korean fluently.
