Accessible Birding at the Pasadena Parrot Roost

Join Feminist Bird Club LA for a visit to the parrot roost at Pasadena City Hall for Birdability week! Feminist Bird Club Los Angeles invites you to our next bird outing at the Pasadena City Hall Parrot Roost! This event will take place Wednesday, October 21 starting at 6:00pm. This is a beginner-friendly event and all are welcome, especially LGBTQ and BIPOC-identifying folks, people with disabilities, and women. Bring binoculars if you have them. We also have extra binoculars and are happy to lend them out on a first-come, first-served basis! Space is limited, so please be sure to RSVP. PARKING INSTRUCTIONS: We will meet at the Robinson Memorial Statues (the giant heads) approximately here: (34.1473419, -118.1445932) There is paid street parking available. There are four accesible parking spaces near City hall. If you need help paying for parking, please reach out to our organizer Taylor at 213-444-6823 ACCESSIBILITY: This will be a sit and wait bird watching event, so we will not be moving around very much (unless you want to!) We will be gathering on paved sidewalks near the city center. The sidewalks are generally flat with little slope. City hall will be closed by the time we get there, so the closest restrooms will be at the Paseo down the street. The parrots are very loud! If you have sensitivities to sound, feel free to bring ear plugs or noise cancelling headphones. Foam earplugs will be provided. If you have any questions about accessibility, please reach out.
