Join On Task's founder, Alexandra Howell, and friends, for this series dedicated to turning the dreams you have for your life into reality. A four-part workshop series from On Task Join On Task founder Alexandra Howell and friends for a four-part series dedicated to turning the dreams you have for your life into something real. Have an idea you cannot stop thinking about? A project you want to launch, a business you have imagined, a creative pursuit you want to take more seriously, a community initiative, a career shift, or simply a version of your life you are ready to start moving toward? Bring it with you. Over four Wednesdays in October, we will explore different parts of the process of taking an idea out of your head and beginning to build something tangible around it. Come for the whole series or drop in at any point. Each session is progressive, but can also stand on its own, so you do not need to have attended the week before or even have your idea fully figured out to participate. If you do join us throughout the month, you will have the chance to keep developing the same idea week by week. Start wherever you are. We will talk through what you want to make happen, what you already have to work with, what might be getting in the way, and the first concrete steps you can take to begin moving your idea forward. Bring a new idea, an old idea, or whatever you have been working on since the last session, or if you're just joining us, share where you are right now with it. We will look at what needs adjusting, what you have learned so far, and how to make your plan clearer, stronger, and more doable. Get another set of eyes on what you are building. We will be joined by friends and colleagues who can offer perspective, feedback, questions, and practical guidance. You will also work on how to communicate your idea clearly, ask for what you need, and talk about what you are building with potential collaborators, supporters, clients, funders, audiences, or anyone else who could help move it forward. Share with the group what you are working on. This might be a finished project, a first draft, a new plan, a prototype, a pitch, a few pages of notes, or simply an idea that has become clearer over the course of the month. This is a chance to celebrate progress, get feedback, make connections, share what you have learned, and figure out what comes next. You do not need a polished plan, special expertise, a pile of money, or perfect attendance. Your idea can be huge, tiny, half-formed, wildly ambitious, or something you have been quietly sitting on for years. You just need something you want to make real. Every Wednesday at 6:30 PM in October. Stragglers and drop-ins welcome.
