BZP Petaluma: A Gathering For Remembrance, Art and Community

We invite you to join us for an afternoon of creativity, remembrance, and community connection. We'll open our office as a welcoming gathering place where people of all ages and backgrounds can come together to honor and remember loved ones who have passed. We will host an open art studio, with supplies available to create art in remembrance of loved ones, including small pieces that can be carried in the community procession. No art experience is needed! You're welcome to bring a photograph or small memento of someone you'd like to honor, or simply come to gather and connect. At 5:45 PM, we'll close our office and invite those who wish to join us as we make our way to St. Vincent de Paul Church for the 6:00 PM gathering and candlelight procession in honor of Día de los Muertos. After the procession, we'll host a long community dining table in our courtyard where friends, families, and neighbors can gather, share stories, and enjoy one another's company. All are welcome. Art supplies will be provided.
