Two Step Tuesday: Dale Wayne

**Dale Wayne** has seen the back of more than a few police cars but is hardly an outlaw. Hitting the studio this year to record his debut album, Dale’s songwriting oscillates between cheeky barroom honky tonk and deeply personal songs that face his troubled upbringing and struggles with drugs and alcohol. Sober for over 30 years, you will find songs about longing and rambling and pain, but the whiskey is conspicuously missing. Influenced by the country shuffles of Ray Price and Hank Thompson, they also draw from the gassed up energy of Junior Brown and Johnny Paycheck. 8 PM til late.
