International Day of Climate Action Volunteering

Volunteer to help the educational native plant gardens and trails at the EEC! International Day of Climate Action is a global event that raises awareness and inspires action to address climate change. One way to help is by supporting wetlands and native plants! Join us to help maintain and improve habitat at the Environmental Education Center at the Don Edwards SF Bay NWR! Activities may include removing invasive plants or picking up litter. All gloves and tools will be provided, so just make sure to bring a can-do attitude. Please register and plan to arrive on time so we can check you in and sign waivers before we get started! Volunteers under the age of 16 will need to be accompanied by a responsible adult. We are happy to sign off on volunteer hours. Other Considerations: This program is brought to you by the San Francisco Bay Wildlife Society (SFBayWS), the nonprofit Friends group supporting the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, with support from the Santa Clara Valley Urban Runoff Pollution Prevention Program.
