Fifth Annual Firefighter Family Ride

Ride with the San Francisco Fire Department from the Panhandle to Golden Gate Park! Ride with the San Francisco Fire Department in Golden Gate Park Join SFFD, SF Safe Routes to School, and the SF Bicycle Coalition for a fun, low-stress family bike ride through one of the city’s most beautiful routes. Whether you’re new to biking or just looking for a great weekend outing, this event is a chance to build confidence, enjoy the park, and connect with other families. We’ll gather at the Panhandle Blacktop (Fell/Ashbury) at 10:30 am. At 10:45, we’ll ride together to JFK Promenade. Stick around after the ride for hands-on fun with a real vintage fire engine, a modern fire truck, and an ambulance. There will be fun giveaways for the kids! When: Saturday, October 24, 10:30 am to 1 pm Where: Panhandle Park Blacktop (Fell & Ashbury) to JFK Promenade (Whale’s Tail) Who: Families, kids, caregivers, and all ages and abilities welcome Price: Free Come for the ride, stay for the fire trucks!
