ARTISTS REJECT PAX SILICA

Join us -- Queer Liberasian, Manila Sound, Malaya Movement LA, along with many other Filipino American artists -- on October 24 during Filipino American Heritage Month for an afternoon of Filipino variety-show fun inspired by Wowowee! 🇵🇭✨ Get ready for games, drag performances, challenges, karaoke, live DJs, and a whole lot of fun—all while raising funds to Stop Pax Silica in the Philippines! As Filipino American artists, we’re using this celebration during Filipino American Heritage month to bring awareness to our heritage of fighting for the people, and to inspire action against Pax Silica, a U.S.-led initiative that would establish a 4,000-acre ai hub in the Philippines. This project threatens land sovereignty, particularly for farmers, and risks depleting the Philippines’ already vulnerable natural resources. ✨ 100% of ticket proceeds will go to Malaya Movement, a grassroots organization that unites communities to defend human rights, democracy, and sovereignty in the Philippines. 🎟️ RSVP to secure your spot! Pay what you can at the door: $5–$25. No one will be turned away for lack of funds! Come for the fun, stay for the community, and join us in the fight for justice and sovereignty in the Philippines. ❤️🇵🇭
