An evening honoring MLIFE co-founder Kamaria J. Ventura. Your gift powers programs where neighbors turn challenges into solutions they own. Kamaria J. Ventura, co-founded MLIFE and served as our Vice President of Programs for a decade. She died on October 31, 2025. One year later, to the day, we gather in her honor. Come celebrate the work she did. A tribute to Kay, and a copy of the Memorial Issue of MLIFE Magazine. MLIFE Scholars and Fellows, speaking for themselves. Two honors: the Community Impact Award and the Outstanding Leadership Award. We are keeping the names secret. Kay loved to surprise people, and we are following her lead. Come in a color that honors a loved one who has passed, with a dash of purple. Kay wanted to be a pediatrician. In her honor, MLIFE plans to build the Kay Center, a children's clinic in Kilifi, a county on Kenya's coast. It will be our second medical clinic and the first built for children. The Kay Fund starts with $10,000 toward a goal of $250,000. We hope to break ground in fall 2028. Your gift also powers MLIFE's health, education, arts, and leadership programs in the San Francisco Bay Area, Kenya, and Ghana. In 2025, they reached 1,749 people in Kenya and the United States. Admission is free. If you are able, choose a sponsorship when you register. $125 sponsors one ticket $250 Friend $500 Supporter $1,250 Partner Saturday, October 31, 2026 4 pm to 7 pm 1187 Franklin Street, San Francisco
