Sacramento Youth Symphony presents Romance and Reverie

The Sacramento Youth Symphony Premier Orchestra opens its 71st season with Romance & Reverie. Under the direction of Maestro Ryan Murray, the 70-piece orchestra performs Dvořák’s Symphony No. 4 in D Minor, a richly orchestrated work influenced by the music of Wagner and Liszt and culminating in an energetic folk dance. The program also includes two selections from the world of grand opera: Bizet’s unforgettable Carmen Suite No. 1 and the stirring Sinfonia from Verdi’s Nabucco.
