Laguna Honda Community Trail System Tour hosted by SFUR (sfurbanriders.org)

Visit the Laguna Honda trails and learn about its history on a 2 hour walking tour. Ticket proceeds go to SF Urban Riders and Livable City. Join us for a lunchtime walking tour of the Laguna Honda Community Trail System. The tour starts across from Forest Hill Station and will go to the upper trailhead at Panaroma and Mountview (mostly uphill). There is a much shorter, easier walk back to Forest Hill Station from the end. We'll discuss history from the Ramaytush Ohlone to recent projects and future hopes and dreams. Where did all the eucalyptus come from? How long has the hospital been there? What do you do with invasive flora? We will share our knowledge while enjoying beautiful trails in the middle of the city.
