2220 hosts *All Hallows' Eve Eve Eve Eve Eve*, a night of folk horror plumbed via ritual, performance and song, with SEEKERS, Tom Comitta, and the collaborative duo of Nicolas Maldonado and Susana Pineda. Before it was Halloween it was Samhain, a weeklong festival for the turn of the season, when the veil between worlds was said to thin. Come celebrate this threshold week with music and film at the edges of saying, dream, legibility, and horror. SEEKERS (Jessica Hundley and Jed Maheu) invites the audience to pull three Major Arcana Tarot cards and turns them into song. Tom Comitta premieres *Folk Horror*, an album of classic horror stories, poems, and paranormal encounters set to folk music. Nicolas & Susana create immersive soundscapes inspired by nature’s beauty and mystery, blending vocals, saxophone, percussion, and electronics to evoke the spirit of nature, ethereal worlds and subtle rhythms. ∆ SEEKERS (Jessica Hundley + Jed Maheu) explores the esoteric through performance, soundscapes and storytelling, offering sonic and spoken word journeys through the vast landscapes of the liminal. Jessica Hundley is a writer and filmmaker specializing in art, mythology, music, and esoteric traditions. She is the author and series editor of TASCHEN's internationally acclaimed encyclopedia series The Library of Esoterica. Through books, lectures, and immersive events, her work explores the relationship between creativity, symbolism and the sacred imagination. Jed Maheu is a Los Angeles–based musician, actor and comedian, best known as the guitarist and vocalist of the heavy metal/punk trio Zig Zags. The band has released records through In the Red and RidingEasy and has collaborated with Iggy Pop, with their debut album produced by Ty Segall. Jed is also host of the long-running music and culture podcast Jedbanger’s Ball. Tom Comitta is a multimedia artist and the author of The Nature Book, Patchwork, and People’s Choice Literature: The Most Wanted & Unwanted Novels. In 2017, they composed and starred in Bill: The Musikill, an experimental sci-fi musical, created with Fire Drill as part of Minneapolis's Momentum Dance Festival.
