Join our Readers' Book Club to share the joy of reading and to expand your reading horizons. We will read thought-provoking adult fiction of various genres for readers of different ages and background. For the remaining months, we will read: Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zora Neale Hurston The Teacher of Nomad Land by Daniel Nayeri What to Expect: For October, we will be reading Their Eyes were Watching God by Zora Neale Hurston, who tells the story of Janie Crawford, in Black dialect. We will discuss her choice of writing in dialect and how it affects her story. Does it make the story more authentic or does it impede our understanding? Did you admire Janie Crawford? What do you think of this protagonist? Come and join us for an interesting discussion. ADA Accommodation Requests
